Churches prepare for general election

For the past 20 years, churches across the country have beenresponsible for organising 'hustings' for local candidates. Thesehave proved to be valuable opportunities for genuine politicaldebate to take place on neutral territory. The Methodist Church,working with other denominations and ecumenical bodies is producingresources to help churches to organise these meetings.
