Fringe events

Many organisations choose to hold fringe events during the Conference. These range from lunches to evening briefings to prayer walks, concerts and receptions. Fringe events offer an opportunity to reach the 330 Conference representatives and also to engage with members of local churches and, indeed, interested members of the public.

When choosing a date and time for your event, you'll find it helpful to look at the Conference timetable.  The Conference Arrangements Team can help publicise your event via the Conference website as well as in the listings in the Conference Handbook. If you are thinking of organising an event please read about the approval process in our policy. Because there are strict print deadlines, we may not be able to help to promote applications received after Monday 12 February 2018. To help you to organise your event, the Conference Arrangements Team are also available to suggest suitable venues and timings. As well as setting out the Terms and Conditions relating to Fringe Events, the downloadable information sheet also offers some general advice about timing your event.

As well as the listings in the Conference Handbook, information about fringe events will be posted on this website before and during the Conference. You may opt out of this web publication of your event, if you wish and instead choose only to have it included in the Conference Handbook.
