Praying as a family

If your family are not all Christian, and you want to find ways to pray together; maybe light a candle at meal times, inviting people to share the names of people they are worried about . Together as a family talk about the person you are worried about and ways in which together we can respond. It may be appropriate for you to say that you will pray for the person.

Prayer Jar:

There is family who have a prayer jar. Each prayer of intercession they pray, they write it on a piece of paper. Then on Christmas day, before they open their other presents, they open the prayer jar and thank God for the answered prayers, and continue to pray for those where they cannot see the answers.
