Easter Offering Service for 2010

Easter Offering for 2010 is titled Companions in Faith, Hope and Love. As in previous years, it has been developed and organised in conjunction with Women’s Network.

As usual, the vast majority of the offering will go to supporting the World Mission Fund of The Methodist Church in Britain with only a tiny percentage (1%) going towards district training funds. Each year the Easter Offering has raised between £300,000 and £400,000 nationally, thanks to the hard work of the Women’s Network and the generosity of our membership.

An optional Love Feast is included this year, with a tried and tested recipe for the Middlesmoor Love Feast cake as used in the Yorkshire Dales since the time of Wesley.
