Introduction from the Editor
Welcome to the September 2003 Connexional Link resources.
This is now the second occasion on which the full range of Link resources are also being made available online. We hope that church news/magazine editors will find the addition of these online versions of some core Methodist resources particularly useful, not least for the convenience of a format which allows for quick selection of any extracts you may wish to highlight in your own church publications.
Being the first Link pack since this year's Methodist Conference in Llandudno our regular news supplement again takes the form of a special Conference News bulletin. Those with an interest in children's work will again find an abundance of practical tips, activity ideas and other useful resources in this month's Good News for Children and the first fullNew Eyes booklet (a new project from the Children's Section, introduced in the previous Link round). Church Membership explores key themes of membership commitment and reviews a range of new resources for growth.At your Service provides the latest contact details for members of the Methodist Connexional Team; a useful quick reference guide on who to approach and how to get help from the Connexional Team. Share (MAYC) contains the latest news and an application form for this year's Methodist Youth Conference in Bolton.
Please do pass on the news that Link is also now available as an online resource. I commend all of this month's Link items in the hope that they will inform, challenge and inspire your whole church family.
