Good research allows the Church to understand what it is, what it has been and what it can or might become. Only by learning about itself can the Church make informed decisions about how best to serve its God-given mission.
The Research Department of the Connexional Team performs research itself, oversees research work elsewhere in the Connexion, and aims to support Methodists in their research, whatever their interests and whatever their context.
