Vocation Days

Vocations Day: Southern and Islands, London and East of England Learning Network Regions

This vocations' day is designed to help people of all ages and stages to explore their calling and what that might mean in terms of vocation.

So whether you are seriously considering a call to ordination or are just interested in finding out where God's call on your life may lead we hope that you will come along for the vocations' day.

Christian vocation might well mean candidating for diaconal or presbyteral ministry, but equally might involve a journey towards lay ministry; vocational lay employment (e.g. as a Pastoral Worker), or possibly even pioneering ministry.

We will hear from people in all these forms of ministry about their own vocational journey. There will be time for questions and time to reflect on your own in quiet.

There will also be some information about how to progress and further explore a sense of calling to ordination.
