Worship planning

A special, one-off issue of ROOTS magazine features worship planning materials (prayers, sermon pointers etc) to enable churches to explore what it means to be a generous disciple in the local church context. It includes worship resources for Adult & All-Age, as well as Children & Young People. It has been produced by the Methodist Church in Britain and the team at ROOTS magazine.

Register for A Generous Life and join us as we explore together what it means to be a generous disciple in the local church context.

We are preparing a range of resources to help congregations explore their vision, commitment and generosity within the local church and its community. Register below and we will contact you again to share what's available.

We see Aldersgate Sunday (18 May 2014) as a particularly relevant time to celebrate all that God has given us and this day will be a particular point in the calendar of A Generous Life for congregations to review their regular giving of time, passion and money.

In the meantime we are gathering thoughts about generosity from around the connexion, and also overseas.  Perhaps you have a story to share with us?

It would be a pleasure to hear any ideas or memories that these questions raise.
