Hosting an OPP

Hosting a ONE Programme Participant (OPP) is an excellent opportunity for districts, circuits, churches and church projects to have input from, and into, a young person based in their project for a year-long, paid, training-provided, internship.

We are always keen to find a wide variety of different projects that can offer an exciting and supported year to an OPP. The host projects do not necessarily have to be children's or youth work - in the past we have had young people placed with food banks, creative arts projects and Street Pastors to name a few. 

Churches and projects, from across the Connexion (the Methodist Church throughout Great Britain), or that have a link to the Methodist Church, are invited to apply to host a young person on placement with the ONE Programme.

The application deadline for 2017/18 host projects has passed and information on 2018/19 will be posted in due course.
