Opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean

• Presbyters and Deacons are needed in all districts of the Caribbean. If a spouse has a particular gifting it may be possible to incorporate their skills or ministry into that of the local church.

Presbyters with Spanish or willing to be trained in Spanish or Portuguese are needed in Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. In most cases theological skills can be used to develop lay people and pastors theological development.

Lay and ordained people with theological training skills are needed in Central America - an initiative with the United Methodist Church involving Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador is looking to train the evolving pastoral body (Spanish Language training will be provided).

Youth and evangelism workers can be placed in most churches in Latin America - be prepared to receive as well as to give.
