Achieving the Vision-World Methodist Council

What if there was an organisation that could inspire 80 million people from different countries and cultures around the world to share a common faith heritage, promote peace and understanding, and work for equal rights and social justice for all peoples?

There is such an organisation: The World Methodist Council

It encompasses 77 member churches on six continents, all sharing a common vision of spreading the Gospel and making disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world.

The World Methodist Council is running the 'Achieving the Vision' Campaign, whose goal is to ask every member of the World Methodist Council's churches to give 20 pence each in order to reach its goal of establishing a £16 million endowment. This endowment will provide a permanent source of funding for our global ministries. However we recognise that in some countries even 20 pence per member is a lot to ask, so we are encouraging Methodists in Britain to be extra generous and give £1 per member to help those where Methodism is strong but the national economies are weak.
