Sino-Celtic Perspectives : Thinking beyond Capitalist Globalisation

15 December 2016, 10 am - 5 pm

Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin

Should we destroy our planet for development? Are poverty and unemployment the price we pay for economic growth? Speakers will be invited to relate their research of the Sino-Celtic worlds to areas that are under threat by modern day global capitalism (e.g. ecology, gender, social relations, diversity, human dignity, etc.) and explore ways and means of seeking common good of humanity.
