Funeral for Revd Francis Nabieu

Dear friends

As we share in our shock and sadness at the loss of our dear brother, Francis, the Staff Team want to offer an opportunity for people to come together, to pray and remember.

We are therefore holding a gathering on Tuesday 17th May at 10am at New Earswick Methodist Church.  We will worship, give an open space to remember Francis and pray together.  This time will conclude with refreshments.

We are also going to partner with the Croydon Circuit, where Francis has been in ministry since last summer, in putting together a Book for Remembrance.   There will be sheets of paper available at New Earswick next Tuesday and then for a time in our Circuit Office for people to write a prayer, tribute or thought.

Once people have had opportunity to offer a contribution we will send these to our friends in Croydon who are going to combine with what they collect there and arrange for them all to be bound.

Thank you for all your prayers as we support the family, his churches and one other.

Leslie Newton, York Superintendent
