Thank you Paul and Sarah...

Paul and Sarah Wright finish their time in Nepal next month after 16 years of service.

In that time they have had two children, experienced political upheaval and insurgency, lived through re-organisation and made huge contributions to their local church and community as well as to the United Mission to Nepal itself.

Both Paul and Sarah became fluent in Nepali and ran a very hospitable household while looking after a growing family, to say nothing of teaching Sunday school and working with teenagers in their local Nepali church.

Sarah also spent time teaching in a bible college, teaching Sunday school and teenagers in a Nepali church (and training up others to take over this role when they leave), leading a bible study / support group for Nepali women, hosting a weekly bible study for expatriates,  as well as supporting some of the human resources work at UMN.

Paul worked full time for UMN. Over the years he dealt with organisational security, organisational change, organisational leadership, relief, disaster management and programme management - in all that finding his work with rural communities (especially churches) most rewarding.

We give them our thanks and wish them well as they move to Scotland. If you want them to come and talk at your church in the Autumn, let us know!
