The South West team

Alison Ball

Sharon Rowe

Learning & Development Officer (Church & Community Development), South West

Sharon has worked and volunteered in a variety of children's, youth and community work contexts for over 16 years, including developing and managing inner city youth and community work, as a Professional Practice Tutor for the Institute for Children, Youth and Mission, and for the Methodist Church as the Youth Participation Project Manager for the South and South West region since November 2009.

Jon Curtis

Learning & Development Officer (Ministry Development), South West

Before his time in the Learning Network, Jon worked within the Venture FX Pioneering Ministries Scheme, and before that, he worked in education as an A Level lecturer and was a Youth Homelessness Worker too. He is a Local Preacher in the Exeter, Coast and Country Circuit too.

His education (BA and MA in Theology from Exeter, plus a PhD due in 2015) adds to this mix, but Jon's passion is for pioneering - opportunities for the radical gospel of Jesus to be spoken of outside of church buildings, and hopes to build upon the exciting work of Venture FX across the country.

Jon lives in Exeter with Beth, Freddie and Martha and is obsessed with both punkrock and Exeter City FC.
