3Generate 2018 is taking place 23-25 November at Pontins, Southport. Tickets for groups are now sold out and the last few tickets for 19-23s are on sale now. Please visit How to book to go onto the waiting list or to buy 19-23s tickets.
Are you passionate about making a difference to children and young people? Are you free at any point during the event weekend (23-25 November)? If so, please consider volunteering for 3Generate 2018. To run this year's event, we are going to need a large number of volunteers with various skills (not only children and youth workers):
- part-time and full-time,
- residential and non-residential,
- before, during and even after the event.
For example, if you are great at organising, are practical and live nearby, please help us set-up on Friday or clear away on Sunday afternoon. If you are great with people and solving problems, please consider the Chalet Host role. Leaders attending with their groups who have some spare capacity are also welcome to apply and this can be part-time, according to the needs of your group.
Ministers were sent five copies of a leaflet about 3Generate 2018, including volunteering opportunities. PDF copies of the leaflet can be viewed and downloaded in colour or in printer-friendly black and white.
3Generate is an action-packed and inspiring weekend for hearing the voice of children and young people across the Methodist Church, focussing on fun, faith and friends. To see what happens visit our YouTube channel - 3GenerateTV and also see below for links to the wealth of information available on this site.
Last year, 3Generate welcomed nearly 1000 children and young people aged 8 – 23 from all over the country, including Scotland and the Channel Islands. A Manifesto for 2018 was produced by the children and young people at the event.
