Lots to do
If you're aged between 11-14 (school years 7-9) and 14-18 (school years 10-13) there's a jam-packed programme to keep you busy all weekend at 3Generate.
All of this has been shaped by local groups of young people like you and includes things like theatre, comedy, music, Big Question debates, outdoor activities, prayer and worship, logins (workshops exploring issues relevant to you and your friends) and much more.
You'll have chance to share your opinions about ideas and issues that matter to you. There'll be plenty of options to choose from. And while there are some 'experts' on-hand to help with the groups, the sessions will be led by young people in your age group.
You'll also be able to vote for your Youth President, and the young people who will represent you at Methodist Conference, Methodist Council and at British Youth Council.
3Generate 2017 will be held at Pontins, Southport - an exciting new, larger venue!
You will be attending the event with your group and your leader - which is slightly different to how we have done 3Generate before.
Groups will stay in chalets adjacent to their leaders, who will take care of you during the event.
If there are only one or two of you in your church and you don't have a group to come to 3Generate with, we can help you find others from nearby churches you can join with.
At meal times, your group can choose to eat with others from the same part of the country, helping you to make more friends during the weekend!
Your leader will be given bedrooms for the group and they will decide who you will be sharing with.
There will be plenty of people to help you to settle in and find your way around - and for you to talk to if you need it. You'll be able to spot them by their t-shirts, which will identify them as Children and Youth team, stewards, volunteers, support team and 'One Programme Participants' for our gap year workers.
You'll also have your own dedicated support team for 11-18s if you need someone to chat to.
