Consultation on the Mission Partner Programme

The Methodist Church is running an online survey that will help inform the future shape of the Church’s Mission Partner programme.  For over 200 years, missionaries have gone from Britain and Ireland to many parts of the globe.  That work has evolved over time but it still continues as our Mission Partner programme and we currently have around 40 such Partners around the world.  For the avoidance of any doubt, this is quite distinct from ministerial exchanges or the transfer of ministers from overseas.

We wish to obtain views both from across the Church in Britain and from existing and former Mission Partners themselves.  We will consult with our Partner Churches in a different way.

The survey has two parts.  The first part has general questions about the shape of the programme and perceptions of it within MCB.  It should require 10-15 minutes of your time to complete and you can do that by clicking on the link below.  At the end, you will find a link to a more detailed second part intended only for past and current Mission Partners themselves.

The deadline for completion is Friday 23rd March.
