Want to help change the world?

Methodists have had a longstanding engagement with social issues that stretches back to the time of John and Charles Wesley.

The Joint Public Issues Team enables four Churches (Methodist, Baptist, URC, Church of Scotland) to work together in living out the gospel of Christ in the Church and in wider society

They aim to work for justice and peace and the integrity of creation, and be a prophetic voice. To enable people to be active disciples of Jesus Christ is a vital element of the our Churches' mission.

Go to www.jointpublicissues.org.uk where you can see the work they are doing and get involved. You could start by subscribing to Praxis their email newsletter, and following them on social media.
