Creative Prayer

Prayer is God's initiative, a gift which enables us to be attentive to the presence of God in our lives and in the world. It is also a means of expressing what we believe about God and can prompt us to act to change the world as we respond to God's love.

In 2005/6 Methodist young people encouraged the Church to 'Pray Without Ceasing', resulting in 14 months of continuous prayer taking place around the Methodist Connexion. This idea really caught people's imaginations and inspired all sorts of interesting approaches to prayer. Some of those ideas are offered here, along with more current suggestions and urgent prayer needs.
