Gillian Kingston

Gillian KingstonGillian Kingston is a local preacher on the North Tipperary Circuit of the Methodist Church in Ireland and a part-time university chaplain. She is interim Vice-President of the World Methodist Council. Living in the midlands of Ireland means that, in the course of duty, she has got to know the roads of Ireland - and their potholes - very well.

Each summer, she leads a team of students and friends on one of the caminos to Santiago de Compostela, raising funds for the Peter McVerry Trust, an organisation which works with the homeless in inner-city Dublin.

Gillian is married to Tom, a retired minister; she is the besotted grandmother of five beautiful granddaughters and a handsome grandson, and co-owner of a black dog.
