The Revd Una McLean

Una is a Methodist minister currently working in North Wales. Before becoming a minister she worked as an occupational therapist for 20 years in fields as varied as elderly care, adult mental health and paediatrics. She maintains an interest in disability and special needs to this day.

In her 'previous life' she was also a voluntary youth worker and served as the Methodist Assocaition of Youth Clubs National President for 1990/1991. Her involvement in youth work continued as she took on the role of special needs advisor/coordinator for London Weekend and then Breakout. During this period she also had chance to explore her interest in British Sign Language and is involved in supporting the development of Deaf Church Deaf Way in North Wales.

In her spare time Una is a keen quilter and enjoys reading and travel. She is studying for an MA through Durham University and writes and journals for her own pleasure and for use in worship.

She is married to Colin and they have a dog and a cat.
