Be Near Me

The tears in my eyes could fill the ocean,
My thoughts are a whizzing rollercoaster,
I feel tired and weary,
I’m drifting away, I see the end of my path,
But then I see you smiling at me,
You’ll always be there to lead me to the right path,
You’ll always be there when I need you,
I’ll never be lost when your with me,
Oh please never leave my lonely side.

HURRICANES

Terrified sunbathers scream and run
A hurricane appears from the dying Sun
Corals are swelling up from the sea
As the winds appear onto the land
Everything is moving
Including the sand
Everyone is terrified by the horrendous wind,
Salt from the sea sprays
Covering your eyes with a crusty feel
As unprotected doors flicker open
Screams are destroyed with an empty silence
And the smell of death lurks around
Suddenly the loud sounds of generators kick in
And repair crews are on the scene
The gusts return with a thousand swords
And everybody rushes back to safety
Everyone safe from danger
We await next years hurricanes
When we have shields raised
