June 2007
Creation Challenge newsletter
Welcome to the June edition of Creation Challenge!
Many thanks to all those that took part in the questionnaire and the poll on possible logos; the logo is still being worked on but a summary of the questionnaire responses is included below.
The Church is celebrating the festival of Pentecost, remembering the outpouring of the Spirit, and from our televisions and newspapers it is clear that environmental concern is fast becoming the spirit of the age. As a network we hope to support each other, share stories, and help each other work towards being better stewards of God’s Creation.
As always we want to hear any other news, tips, experiences or questions that you would like to share where churches' and your own engagement with the environment are concerned.
Best wishes,
Dave Coaker

Creation Challenge – The Video … Has your synod or circuit meeting discussed the churches response to climate change? The Methodist and United Reformed Churches have joined forces to produce a video to introduce the topic at regional church meetings. The video is less than 4 minutes long. Using striking images it enables meetings to engage with the topic creatively and invites people to develop their own response. This will be available shortly and a separate e-newsletter will go out to let you know how to see it and get a copy.
