Seventy-five cyclists on the inaugural ride of the Sustrans 'Hadrian's Cycleway' (Ravenglass to South Shields) were welcomed to Seascale Methodist Church, in the Whitehaven Circuit, West Cumbria, for cold drinks and biscuits on Monday 17 July 2006.
Amongst the riders was David Salmon of Hampton Methodist Church in the Teddington Circuit - pictured below.
Anyone riding the Hadrian's Cycleway is invited to call in at the Church
for a drink and a rest. Please contact 019467 28724 in advance to make sure the Hall is free and someone is available to serve. Donations gratefully accepted!
