Methodist Publishing House Chair retires
Dudley Coates, who has the chaired the Board of the Methodist Publishing House since 1996, has announced his retirement from the post.
During his term of office the House has published the Methodist Worship Book in all its various editions, continued the long tradition of the Epworth Press imprint, and moved to new purpose built premises.
Following a strategic review, new senior staff have been appointed and the House is poised to launch a new imprint aimed at the wider ecumenical market, as well as a refreshed image for the Methodist Publishing House imprint. The House continues to provide a wide range of resources and services from its Peterborough headquarters.
Dudley Coates said, 'I am proud of the achievements of the House over the last eight years. I am confident that the House, under its new Chief Executive, Martin Stone, will go from strength to strength. I am looking forward to handing over to my successor in the autumn'.
