Statement on the Charlie Hebdo terror attack in Paris

The Methodist Church fully supports the statement issued by theCouncil of Christians and Jews concerning the barbaric CharlieHebdo terrorist attack in Paris on 7 Janaury 2015.

The Council of Christians and Jews wishes to express itshorror at the terrorist attack on the offices of the Parisianmagazine  Charlie Hebdo, and joins withthose organisations of all faiths which have offered deepestsympathy to the families and friends of those murdered. In theseunstable times, we offer our prayers for all victims of terrorthroughout the world and look with hope to those working for peaceand justice.
