Inter Faith Week

This week is Interfaith Week. On Monday evening the President attended Hope Not Hate's inaugural annual dinner. Hope Not Hate challenges racism and extremism through research, data and work directly in the communities that are the most vulnerable. They seek to engage with those susceptible to extremist messages, whilst equipping mainstream civil society and faith organisations with the knowledge and skills to overcome hate and unite communities.

It was good to be at the dinner, alongside faith leaders, MPs, union leaders and many others committed to delivering hope in dangerous times.

Later in the week the President was delighted to join a panel of faith leaders at City University discussing 'Prayers, Politics and Public Life.' The event was organised by Co-ordinating Chaplain at City, the Revd Ian Worsfold.
