Accommodation and meals

The Conference arranges accommodation for all representatives.  During the 2018 Conference, representatives will stay in the Ancaster and Cavendish Halls of Residence, Park Campus, University of Nottingham. We will do our best to room you in the same hall as others in your district or representative group.

Rooms are single occupancy with en-suite shower and WC.  All linen is provided along with soap, shower gel and shampoo, and each room has tea and coffee-making facilities and a small fridge.  There are also pantries on each floor, where microwave ovens are available.  The laundry rooms have irons and ironing boards and coin-operated washing machines and tumble dryers. There is an open-network Wi-Fi system which you will be able to access after completing a short online registration form.  Conference representatives may use the University gym and swimming pool on production of proof of residence.

The Halls are a short walk from the Conference venue, the Sports Hall at the David Ross Sports Village.  You can download a map of the campus here.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in your hall of residence and are provided every day except on Sunday when an evening meal will not be offered.  Representatives may claim expenses of up to an agreed maximum for their evening meal on Sunday. Contact the Conference Office for more information.

District representatives should submit their claims via their District Treasurer; all other representatives, and Ordinands, should submit their claims to the Conference Office using the claim form, which will be sent to you before the Conference. Claims must be supported by receipts.
