Changing childhood: how can we address the challenges facing children today?

Action for Children
Hampton Room

Join Action for Children as it celebrates its 150th birthday and reflects on how things have changed since it first started helping children in 1869.

Although much has improved, too many issues such as child poverty and abuse and neglect remain. Alongside this, children and young people growing up today face new challenges, such as social media and increasing concerns about mental health. This interactive session will reflect on the big issues facing children and the work the charity continues to do to address them. Come along to join the debate about what government and society can do to ensure all children can have the childhood they deserve.

Lunch will be served. Please register on Eventbrite by Friday 21 June.
