A special 3Generate
8-23 year-olds in need of additional support, because of learning difficulties or physical limitations, are welcomed to the event and can attend with parents/carers (who can become leaders - please see the Safer Recruitment information on our page about Bringing a group to 3Generate).
Whether a child or young person has Downs Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, or Cystic Fibrosis, if they are Autistic, or deaf, visually impaired, or have a physical disability or something else we haven't listed here that means they might need a bit of extra help, then this event is for them.
We are committed to hearing the voice of every child and young person in our Church. To help us become a fully inclusive church please come and be a part of 3Generate.
Care of all members of each group will be the responsibility of the leaders of the group. Children and young people with additional needs will be cared for as part of their group, therefore, if the group needs to bring extra adults, parents or specific carers, these can be added as extra leaders to the group booking (NB: all adults, including parents, must go through the Safer Recruitment process locally - more details can be found on our page about Bringing a group to 3Generate).
Individual 19-23 year olds with additional needs, who are not coming with a group but require one-to-one assistance can register their carer via the leader registration link (open until 31 July 2019) or by sending us an email.
There will be BSL signers at 3Generate, plus, we have our own Additional Needs Team on-site to help children and young people engage with the programme. We have a venue called Still Space, which provides a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle.
