Agents of Change

Creating Agents of Change is one of the aims of the Children, Youth and Family Team. We want to inspire and equip children, young people and families to make a positive difference in the world. This could be in your local church, college or university, in your community, nationally or even globally. It can take many forms - volunteering, campaigning, making ethical choices, prayer and sharing God's love in a variety of ways.

The Agents of Change work links closely with the 3Generate Manifesto and the work of the Youth President and Youth Reps.

If you would be particularly interested in helping to shape this work, then please email Lynne Norman to find out more. Lynne would also love to hear from you if you or a group you are involved in have a story to tell about being an Agent of Change!

Recruiting now! Global Mission Fellows

The Global Mission Fellows programme is now accepting applications for the 2021-23 international track. Covid-19 permitting, successful applicants will take up placements from September 2021, following training as a cohort in July (which may be online this year), and finish end June 2023.

This is a really great opportunity for 20-30 year olds to serve in another country, live out their faith and develop as leaders committed to justice and peace. Fellows have a local supervisor, regular reviews, international webinars and gatherings to encourage ongoing reflection and learning, as well as other support. They have a fundraising target, but most costs are covered. The closing date for applications is 7 January 2021.
