Agents of Change

Creating Agents of Change is one of the aims of the Children, Youth and Family Team. We want to inspire and equip children, young people and families to make a positive difference in the world. This could be in your local church, college or university, in your community, nationally or even globally. It can take many forms - volunteering, campaigning, making ethical choices, prayer and sharing God's love in a variety of ways.

The Agents of Change work links closely with the 3Generate Manifesto and the work of the Youth President and Youth Reps.

You could also get involved with Faith Justice, an initiative that seeks to bring together young adults of faith so that they can work together for change.

The Young Emerging Leaders Collective is a programme from The Ubele Initiative, an African Diaspora led organisation that seeks to build sustainable communities across the UK.

Our Bright Future offers lots of support and opportunities to young adults who are passionate about climate justice, including supporting the Field Studies Council's subsidised eco-skills courses for 18 - 25 year olds who want to enhance their CV, possibly with a view to a career in environmental work.

If you would be particularly interested in helping to shape this work, then please email Lynne Norman to find out more. Lynne would also love to hear from you if you or a group you are involved in have a story to tell about being an Agent of Change!
