Positive Working Together

Positive Working Together focuses on combatting bullying and harassment, which can be a source of conflict in the life of the Methodist Church.

A key focus of the work is support and regular training for District Reconciliation Groups, as a source of support for those experiencing bullying or harassment.

However, Positive Working Together is the job of everybody in the Church and the resources found on these pages aim to help everybody play their part.

We're excited to share the Positive Working Together (PWT) programme in the New Year:

 1) PWT Networking Day. Wednesday 4th March 2020. Methodist Church House. 10:00 - 16:00. An Eventbrite booking link will be sent out in mid-January. Please keep an eye out for this.

 2) Spirituality, Scripture and Conflict 2-day Train the Trainers Residential. Tuesday 31st March - Wednesday 1st April 2020. Cliff College.

 3) Bullying and Harassment 2-day Train the Trainers Residential. Tuesday 29th September - Wednesday 30th September 2020. Cliff College.

The costs for these gatherings are covered by the Learning Network, except for the travel costs, which hopefully can be covered by Church/Circuit/District.

 Please note:

 i) Both residential programmes will start at 10:15 on Day One, finishing at 15:00 on Day Two.

ii) To register for either of the two residentials, please contact Abdul Rahim directly by email and he will add your name to the list.

iii) A summary timetable for both residentials will be made available in the new year on the Positive Working Together section of the Methodist website. Respective timetables will also be sent out to registered participants nearer the date of each training.
