Rural & Ecumenical
Being rural & ecumenical is a way of life.
It’s the local ‘on the ground’ relationships that make the difference for our rural mission & ministry: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:18
The Rural officer is also part of the Joint Public Issues Team, with a brief to advocate for the complex social issues faced by our diverse rural communities. If you're interested in rural representation & having your voice heard, then please sign up to join a Rural Solidarity Circle here. Many of our regional chaplaincy teams operate ecumenically, often also in conjunction with Farming Community Network. For further rural chaplaincy support, please click here.
