ZAMBIA: Short term mission service and special skills opportunities at United Church of Zambia.
The partner church welcomes volunteers and interns interested in serving at any of its programmes located across Zambia.
Serve with the Development unit of UCZ on social and justice issues e.g. young mothers’ empowerment program
Work at Mpongwe Beekeeping project (rural industry)
Opportunity to work at Chipembi Agriculture Institute and Farm – both agronomy and livestock farming
Serve at Chodort Training Centre at Choma – it offer vocational skills such as sewing, catering, carpentry and masonry courses
CHINA: Volunteer placements with Amity Foundation
Opportunities to witness the work of Amity Foundation in China - share your spoken English skills with their English teachers and encounter God's work in the region. Placements between 6 weeks and 12 months.
COLOMBIA, NIGERIA and CAMEROON: Senior Medical Skills needed for up to 12 months
Opportunities have been requested by the Methodist Churches of Colombia, Nigeria and Cameroon for a variety of medical professionals to support the health work being undertaken across a variety of countries. These roles would appeal to medical professionals called to serve in God’s mission for between 6 and 12 months.

Specialist Skills Missions (approx. one week to a month)
Nigeria: Methodist Church Nigeria
A request has been received for teaching and training skills as part of a new BA Theology course at the Methodist Church Nigeria University. The role would suit anyone feeling called to overseas service as part of his or her sabbatical or who can offer a short period to cover a teaching block.
The Methodist Church of Nigeria has requested specific support across the medical field. A variety of medical professionals could support their work both in hospital care and public health community care. Short and long term placements would be considered.
Methodist Theological College, Mandalay
Mandalay has just opened its Wesley Ecumenical Research Centre. A visit by someone prepared to offer seminars or workshops on Wesley and Wesleyan topics would be welcomed. This could be offered at any time by negotiation with the Principal. The aim is both to attract scholars to academic presentations but also to engage ministers and church members in the districts.

All specialist skills mission volunteers will need to have a DBS and should have some previous experience of working overseas.
