Volunteer in Israel Palestine

When you volunteer in Israel/Palestine you will be supported by Deacon Angleena Keizer who is working at the Methodist Liaison Office, Jerusalem, as a mission partner of the Methodist Church in Britain. Her role includes helping to forge meaningful links with those who travel to the region, enabling them to gain greater insights into the historic and current religious and political situations. Angleena's life and work in the region enables her to be a real advocate for those whose voices are not always heard.

The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel

EAPPI is an international programme coordinated by the World Council of Churches. It brings people from around the world to the West Bank to serve for three months as human rights monitors. We call them Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs). Click here to find out more

URGENT : Ecumenical Accompaniers (human rights monitors) to serve in Palestine and Israel in 2021. The closing date is 24th April and with the challenging times we are currently in, we anticipate that our application numbers may be somewhat low this year.  We are now trying to put the word out as widely as possible that although so much is currently paused and postponed, we still need human rights observers for next year and there are just three weeks left to apply.
