Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die." (vs 25-26)

Jesus began to weep. (v. 35)

And Jesus looked upwards and said, "Father, I thank you for having heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that you sent me." (vs 41-42)

"You do not understand that it is better for you to have one man die for the people than to have the whole nation destroyed." He did not say this on his own, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus was about to die for the nation. (vs 50-51)

Jesus said, "Leave her alone. She bought itc so that she might keep it for the day of my burial. You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me." (vs 7-8)

And those in the boat worshipped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God." (v. 33)

The next day the great crowd that had come to the festival heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting,

"Hosanna!" (vs 12-13)

"Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit." (v. 24)

"Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say – 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name." (vs 27-28)

"While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light." (v. 36) John 12:36b-43

He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus answered, “You do not know now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” (vs 6-7)

"Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord – and you are right, for that is what I am. So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet." (vs 12-14)
