Then he [Jesus] said to them, “You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition!" (v. 9)

"It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come." (vs 20-21)

Then Jesus began to say to them, “Beware that no one leads you astray." (v. 5)

He said to her, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” (v. 27)

Then Jesus ordered them to tell no one; but the more he ordered them, the more zealously they proclaimed it. (v. 36)

And immediately he [Jesus] got into the boat. (v. 10)

And he [Jesus] sighed deeply in his spirit. (v. 12)

"And do you not remember?" (v. 18c)

He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “You are the Messiah.” (v. 29)

Pilate asked him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.” (v. 37)

But Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman deeply troubled; I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I have been pouring out my soul before the Lord. Do not regard your servant as a worthless woman, for I have been speaking out of my great anxiety and vexation all this time.” (vs 15-16)

For this child I prayed; and the Lord has granted me the petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he lives, he is given to the Lord.” She left him there for the Lord. (vs 27-28)
