I want you to know, beloved that what has happened to me has actually helped to spread the gospel, so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard and to everyone else that my imprisonment is for Christ. (vs 12-13)

Only, live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that, whether I come and see you or am absent and hear about you, I will know that you are standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side with one mind for the faith of the gospel. (v. 27)

Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus. (v. 5)

So that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world. (v. 15)

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty." (v. 35)

Welcome him then in the Lord with all joy, and honour such people. (v. 29)

Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on towards the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus. (vs 13-14)

But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. (v. 20)

So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God. (v. 7)

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (v. 7)

The gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. (v. 18)

"For my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them." (vs 55-56)
