Trey Hall, Director of Evangelism & Growth, welcomes Jaz Ampaw-Farr to the next Wholehearted Monthly, an opportunity to gather with other Methodist leaders each month to get inspired, equipped and organised for mission!

Alongside the Methodist Church's hope to significantly increase the number of children, youth, and young adults who are active disciples of Jesus, the first three months of Wholehearted Monthly will have a "back to school" theme. Each month will feature testimony from a young adult leader and missional input from a seasoned leader in a related field.
Kicking us off in September is the amazing Jaz Ampaw-Farr, who you probably won't remember from The Apprentice, as she got booted out the first week! But she learned to reframe and pivot from that experience and so many others.
She's just written a book, Because of You This is Me, a powerful story of transformation through education, resilience, and radical hope in which she shares the "10% braver" journey from being an ill-equipped mum to five siblings battling poverty and abuse at home to teacher, educator of educators, stand-up comic, internationally renowned speaker and policy advisor, and co-host of the Spill the Spirituality podcast.
At a time when burnout, safeguarding challenges, and systemic pressures weigh heavily on teachers, Christian leaders, and carers, she offers a manifesto for change in which is "human-first".
Upcoming guests include:
October - Minister and activist Steve Chalke
November - Rapper and broadcaster Guvna B
January - Writer and poet Cole Athur Riley
February - Renegade economist Kate Raworth
