Whether you're hoping to just keep the festival vibes flowing or dreaming of pioneering a new Christian community, your journey starts here.
The Hope & Anchor and The Methodist Church
Who are we? We’re Methodists, one of the largest denominations of Christian churches in the country, with a presence in communities all over the UK (and the world).
The Hope and Anchor is in many ways a community ran by the Methodist Church, one that turns up in all kinds of places, sometimes online as the “Spill The Spirituality” podcast and sometimes onsite at events and festivals as a pop-up venue. Wherever you find it, the Hope and Anchor is an inclusive space for conversations that change things, the kind of chat that’s about all of life, and the spirituality running through everything.
Dreaming of Doing Community Differently?
God is calling people from all backgrounds, ages, and cultures across the Methodist Church to do community differently. No two pioneers are the same, but they share a passion for connecting with new people and creating new Christian communities where others can encounter God’s love for the first time.
Could God be calling you to Pioneer a new community in the Methodist Church?

Keep the conversation going...
The Hope and Anchor is a place to gather together as community, it's a place of great love, joy and celebration, but also like all good communities, it is a space to go deeper, to share our griefs and our burdens, to be challenged and transformed. We hope you've found that at whatever festival you've joined us for, but it doesn't have to end there...
