Return to the Lord, your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing. (v. 13)

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame. You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I, the Lord, am your God and there is no other.And my people shall never again be put to shame. (vs 26-27)

The Lord roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shake. But the Lord is a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel. (v. 16)

The next day he saw Jesus coming towards him and declared, ‘Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!' (v. 29)

'See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God.' (v. 1)

We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us – and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. (v. 16)

So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. (v. 16)

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. (v. 18)

If we receive human testimony, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has testified to his Son. (v. 9)

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (v. 13)

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptised by him. John would have prevented him, saying, ‘I need to be baptised by you, and do you come to me?’ But Jesus answered him, ‘Let it be so now; for it is proper for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness.’ Then he consented. (vs 13-15)

We declare to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. (v. 3)
