Do you not know that all of us who have been baptised into Christ Jesus were baptised into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. (vs 3-4)

Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. (v. 1)

Now the Jordan overflows all its banks throughout the time of harvest. (v. 15)

He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. (v. 3)

said, 'Can anyone withhold the water for baptising these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?' (vs 46-47)

'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.' (v. 2)

in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptised by John in the Jordan. And just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending like a dove on him. (vs 9-10)
