The next day the great crowd that had come to the festival heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, shouting,

"Hosanna!" (vs 12-13)

"Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit." (v. 24)

"Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say – 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name." (vs 27-28)

"While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light." (v. 36) John 12:36b-43

He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus answered, “You do not know now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” (vs 6-7)

"Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord – and you are right, for that is what I am. So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet." (vs 12-14)

So, after receiving the piece of bread, he immediately went out. And it was night. (v. 30)

"I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." (vs 34-35)

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (v. 6)

"And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever." (v. 16)

Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them." (v. 23)

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid." (v. 27)
