This week's theme: One in Love, One in Splendour
Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. (v. 27)
And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love. (v. 13)
So you are no longer a slave but a child, and if a child then also an heir, through God. (v. 7)
Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them." (v. 23)
One who rules over people justly, ruling in the fear of God, is like the light of morning, like the sun rising on a cloudless morning, gleaming from the rain on the grassy land. (vs 3-4)
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. (vs 2-3)
Unlike the other high priests, he has no need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for those of the people; this he did once for all when he offered himself. (v. 27)
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (v. 8)
See, my servant shall prosper; he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. (v. 13)
And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour." (vs 46-47)
"I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one." (vs 20-21)
Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” (v. 4)
