Champions Network recruitment open

We are currently recruiting for the Digital Transformation Programme Champions Network, as of February 2026.

The Champions Network exists to support cultural change, encourage adoption of new digital tools and services, and provide a two-way communication channel between the Digital Transformation Programme (DTP) and the wider Methodist Church.

  • We are looking for representatives from circuits and districts.
  • Open to staff, ministers, office holders, volunteers, and others across the Methodist Church who have an interest in championing digital transformation.
  • Participation is voluntary and informal; members can join or step back at any time. Membership is encouraged to be broad, diverse, and representative of all parts of the Connexion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as local advocates for the DTP, sharing updates and encouraging engagement within their circuits, districts, teams, or ministries.
  • Provide early feedback on new digital services, tools, and communications.
  • Highlight issues, questions, or concerns emerging from their local contexts, helping ensure that the Programme responds to the needs of diverse user groups.
  • Support digital confidence‑building by signposting training, resources, and guidance available through the Programme.
  • Share examples of digital good practice and learning, contributing to a community of shared improvement.
  • Attend optional briefings, demonstrations, or development sessions to remain informed and able to support their communities.
