Action for Children news

Share the wonder of Christmas!

Action for Children is pleased to let you know that their all-age Christmas worship materials are now available to download.

This year’s theme is ‘Share the wonder of Christmas’ as we reflect on the amazing Christmas story while thinking about the children and families in our communities who find the season difficult. You can download the booklet and latest newsletter here: actionforchildren.uk/faithFR

Share your views with Action for Children

You could help improve Action for Children’s relationship with the Methodist Church by sharing your views in this 10-minute survey. The charity wants to understand their Methodist supporters better so that they can:

  • Improve how they steward and communicate with you.
  • Provide fundraising and campaigning tools that you find engaging and workable.

Your insights, experiences, and feedback are incredibly valuable. You can also help by sharing the survey in your churches. Thank you for your time.

Faith Space – online event on Wednesday 22 October

Faith Space is Action for Children’s online event for our church supporters. It is a great opportunity to learn more about our work and how it makes a difference to thousands of vulnerable children and their families. The next one is on Wednesday 22 October at 2:30pm.

Rachel Lampard, Director for Social Justice and Social Action for the Methodist Church, will share thoughts about how our faith calls us to be justice seekers and why it's even more important now for vulnerable children and families. Clare, a Community Engagement Coordinator for Action for Children’s Newcastle services will also talk about how they are delivering support to vulnerable children and families partnering with local organisations in and around Newcastle - including the local Methodist Church.
