Explore the Applied Leadership Academy, equipping church members in leadership and project delivery apprenticeships

A reminder that the deadline for registering and expression of interest is Friday 31 October for the Applied Leadership Academy (ALA) in partnership with Multiverse.

This brings together three apprenticeship pathways designed to strengthen how we serve across the Connexion:

  • Project Management (Level 4): for those coordinating projects such as community outreach, events, or building works.
  • Transformative Leadership (Level 5): for experienced leaders seeking to lead inclusively, embrace new tools, and mentor others.
  • Management Jumpstart (Level 3): for aspiring or new managers looking to develop essential skills for leading teams.

Please note that this programme is funded via the English Apprenticeship Levy. Learners must spend at least 50% of their working hours in England and work a minimum of 28 hours per week. We would also encourage you to arrange a conversation with your minister in oversight or line manager about the potential to be part of one of these apprenticeship programmes.

We hope that this will provide opportunities for strengthening and building skills for a range of ministers and lay employees that will be useful in enhancing local mission and ministry, as we work with Multiverse in these three areas.
