Filming request for this Sunday 21 September 2025

In response to tensions across parts of the United Kingdom over the recent weeks, particularly in response to groups of people being targeted based on their background, the Methodist Church is publishing a new recording of the hymn Let us build a house where love can dwell (StF 409). As part of this recording, we are filming a music video, so that we can share the media online and encourage communities to come together.

The Connexional Team is asking churches if they are able to film themselves all together simply saying 'All are welcome' so that we can insert this footage into the video. This can then be shared through the link below, as soon as possible. We also encourage churches to record this in different languages, where possible.

We appreciate this is a last minute request, and are trying to respond to current events in a manner that engages the whole Church, rather than just individual parts of it. We are grateful for your help in making this possible.
