Ministerial Flourishing with GoHealth: Online Taster Session

Commissioned by the Connexional team, this session offers a gentle introduction to GoHealth’s distinctive approach to Christian leadership, and wellbeing - theologically rooted, scientifically informed, and shaped by the lived realities of ministry today. It is offered as a taster preceding a full-day workshop on 6 May and an opportunity to check if it would be supportive for you and your context.

In this taster session you will:

  • Meet The Revd Dr Gillian Straine and hear more about her approach to ministerial flourishing
  • Explore how theology, science and trauma-informed practice are woven together in GoHealth’s approach
  • Get a feel for the reflective practices, learning style and theological framework of the full workshop
  • Reflect on vocation, wellbeing and the systems within which ministry is lived
  • Ask questions and consider whether this approach resonates with your own ministry journey.

The session is accessible, spacious and conversational. Attendance does not commit you to the full workshop in May — it is simply an opportunity to pause, listen and explore.

All of those in ministry of every type are warmly welcome. A recording of the session will be available to all who sign up. For any questions, contact Corin Pilling; Vocational Flourishing Officer pillingc@methodistchurch.org.uk
